By joining us you can support our local wildlife and environments, get involved with great activities and events, and become part of a growing community of like-minded people striving to protect our amazing region.

£10 per year adult.
£5 per year child.
£8 per year Concessions (Student/Unwaged/Pensioner).
£20 per year family (up to 2 adults and 2 children).
£30 per year for organisations.

Membership entitles you to:
10% discount off any of our walks or events. 10% of venue fee for organisations. Updates on ’Citizen Science’ and biorecording projects we become involved in, and opportunities to take part.
An invitation to our annual ’Members’ Gathering’ and BBQ at Barr an Daimh.

Your membership will help support:
Our work to protect and promote the Heart of Argyll’s unique biodiversity.
Our work with local schools and youth groups.
The creation of a volunteer group.
The purchase of equipment to enable biological recording.
The fitting out of Barrandaimh as an environmental interpretation and information centre.
Community use of Barrandaimh.
Economic regeneration via the attraction of more year round visitors to the area.

Join us as a volunteer
There is always so much to do at Barrandaimh you will be spoilt for choice!. helping out with maintenance, day to day running of the centre, bio-recording projects, monitoring beaver activity or helping out with our walks and events
If you would like to help us out contact us at

Running the centre, providing educational materials, bio-recording, outreach work, training, maintenance and the funding of one full time equivalent Environmental Interpretation Officer post add up to a total running cost of around £30,000 per year.
